Studio Tour
This is my beading getaway! I enjoy all the amenities of a glass studio in my own home! I have a minor torch hooked up to an oxygen concentrator and a propane tank (located outside). I also have all the safety equipment nearby, like a fire extinguisher, carbon monoxide detector and a BIG "Glasscrafts" 650 cfm hood that provides ideal ventilation for lampworking (for more information on Lampworking, go to FAQs). I also decided to get a digital controlled kiln to ensure the durability of each bead that I create. Along with my lampworking area, I also have a desk with computer and space to work on jewelry design. My time is well spent in this quiet, cozy space creating beautiful works of art that I love to wear and share! I tried to make it as cozy and welcoming as possible. It's in this special place that I can get away from the daily grind, wind down, relax and be creative! My husband, Jimmy, has been so supportive of my passion and I am so thankful for a little space of my own!!
